These are the final two stops on our journey: the graphic and audio components, respectively. Fortunately, there have been some significant improvements in both areas, albeit not game-changing improvements. Although there are some minor improvements in player likenesses and a more diverse crowd this time around, the visuals are very similar to the previous version (we're comparing next-generation versions; we haven't played it on the PS4 or Xbox One). In the representation of the managers, an important step forward has been made, with more accurate facial renderings and key characteristics for some of the more well-known figures. As an example, following a victory for his team Liverpool, Jürgen Klopp embraces everyone on the field and delivers one of his infamous air punches towards the home fans.
A minor quibble, though: some of the close-ups during match highlights appear to be a little fuzzy to us, which is a little disappointing, to say the least. Unsure whether this is the result of the camera's autofocus effect, but it doesn't appear to be particularly appealing at this time. Similarly, when it comes to free kicks, the field of view can be considered. It appears strange that the ball is deliberately shown out of focus in order to ensure that the goal is pin sharp as a result of the fact that you must time your kick perfectly.
The overall presentation of the game, which is first-rate in every way, is not detracted from by these minor issues. The same can be said for the audio quality in this instance. As in previous years, the chants of the audience, as well as the musical score, are once again outstanding. Aside from the appearance of a new twonk whenever the ball hits the back of the net, there are no other unusual aspects to this game. If you say that phrase out loud, it sounds more like you've scored in a recreational center than like you've won a 5-a-side soccer game. Despite the fact that the net physics are incredible, the music that goes along with them is a little odd.
Despite the fact that Electronic Arts has consistently delivered excellent results with its licenses, the company continues to exclude several Italian teams, including Juventus, from its official licensed team roster. As a result, this football game has maintained its position as the most visually appealing on the planet.

This year, one of the most encouraging aspects of Electronic Arts' performance has been the fact that they have not taken their first-place position for granted.
