When playing Diablo 2 Resurrected the controller gets in the way during general gameplay as well GOLDKK from Lora Young's blog

In buy diablo 2 resurrected items Resurrection, the controller gets in the way of general gameplay as well. Because you cannot target specific enemies or items when there is no mouse cursor, repeatedly pressing the X button to attack resulted in items dropping from enemies and being picked up by the player as soon as they hit the ground. As part of this process, I had to walk around hoping that the invisible cursor would highlight the item I actually wanted so that I could pick it up before my co-op partner swiped it off the ground.

It also becomes cumbersome when engaging in general combat or employing abilities and skills. One such skill is called Leap, which allows the Barbarian to leap towards an enemy who is far away from his current location. However, in order to accomplish this, you must first identify and target the adversary. This is possible with a mouse cursor, but it is not possible with a game controller. As an alternative to leaping towards a foe at the far end of a room, the controller restricts you to only leaping towards the foe directly in front of you. Back in the day, I remember using this skill to get out of a dangerous combat situation. Unfortunately, due to the inability to target enemies at a distance, this skill is rendered ineffective on the console.

In general, the combat felt clumsy as a result of the controller's sensitivity. I was constantly picking up items I didn't want because of spamming attacks that were directed at the wrong enemy. I then had to decide whether to abandon them or go spend time holding down square in order to sell them all. To be fair, I understand that diablo 2 resurrected items Resurrection is attempting to recapture the magic of the classic dungeon crawler, but this is not an ideal situation by any means.

It is also a disappointment given how well Diablo 3 performs when played with a controller. Blizzard has mastered the couch-based gaming experience, which has, in some ways, completely altered the flow of the game. buy D2R items, on the other hand, is a different story. The controller system is such a hassle that I'm seriously considering purchasing it on a PC just to avoid dealing with these issues in the future. If that's not possible, Blizzard will have to patch in mouse and keyboard support for the console. This is something I cannot emphasize enough. It gets in the way of the game and makes it a chore to play.

Diablo 2 Resurrected is in desperate need of improvement. It's just that the controller doesn't work well with it. To the end of the second act, I only had three characters to play, and it was a real chore. The thought of doing it for the rest of the game and then taking on the more difficult difficulty settings is too much for me.
