DeRozan and LaVine have the 19th and 23rd positions respectively. Nikola Vucevic is ranked No. 59 and Lonzo Ball comes to No. 73. Somewhat surprisingly, Andre Drummond is rated as Chicago's fifth-best player , and barely missed the cut.

The Bulls backcourt has taken an enormous hit, since Alex Caruso, Coby White and Dosunmu are all downgraded to a point at a time when most people would expect them to improve even more next season. Dosunmu's 76 overall rating is especially shocking considering his All-Rookie status was just announced. The All-Rookie Second Team guard Josh Giddey posted roughly equal performance to Dosunmu (and was dominated by Ayo in head-to head matchups) as a starter , but received a far superior 82 overall score.

The rookie Dalen Terry has also been assigned a ridiculous rating of 71 overall which is below even the likes of the former Bulls Matt Thomas, Denzel Valentine, Troy Brown Jr., along with Tomas Satoransky. Three of them aren't even listed on an NBA roster and the fourth player is an unofficial "prove it" contract that will shortly be joining the other three players in case he doesn't improve significantly.

I don't expect Terry to step up and light things up right away, but putting Dalen below these players is extremely absurd, all things considered.As as a whole, 2K has rated the Chicago Bulls in "Tier 2" which means that they're not one of the league's top 10 teams. The irony is that the Lakers have been ranked among those 10 teams that are in Tier 1 despite the messiness of their roster construction has been over the last two years.

Ultimately, Chicago's 2K rating obviously has no bearing on how they'll fare as a group.
