Their Resources Exist On The Sport from Kingang's blog

Yeah it definitely has to do with PSO2 Meseta basically distinct body projection about the new outfits, along with not enough resources (time and money) to update rigs on current outfits. Considering everything Sega is doing in the graphics overhaul, there is no way this restriction would be set up if it was an easy fix. And there's a quite a great deal of outfits, particularly on JP side. I truly hope they just gradually update clothing over time particularly the exclusive ones from the product codes and collabs. I wouldn't mind if they make them in a separate NGS scratch when it will induce them to do so. This is really nice. I do hope though that they slowly update the old PSO2 Outfits and Layered wears to let finger movement down the road. Especially Collaboration outfits and layered wear (Half-Life, Persona, Anime Collabs, etc).

Sounds like a perfect opportunity for them....to sell them to you as Scratch items and call them the"GVS" something or versions. I am hopeful that they do upgrade them but it's more lucrative for them to sell you the remade from scratch outfits than providing them for free. I've worked in the market previously and rigging palms up is not hard work, the matter is how many costume items would have to be modified without a financial justification. Plus giving folks fully working things with the benefits (on what's basically a brand new game) could deincentivise players purchasing the"new" stuff. Yeah. They already release across the years the very same outfits (sky/night/blue/gv/b/etc.) And the ones that you could recolor costs exchanging scratch things to get a color overhaul.

Personal speculation: PSO2 is being ported to the NGS engine to keep players occupied involving NGS content releases. No new content will probably be released to it out of makeup, of which will be obtained/ported out of NGS events/scratches to get people to play with that. It is going to be eliminated after a couple of years after all the players have migrated and the only individuals in the PSO2 buying meseta cubes are diehards holdouts/nostalgia. Probably. It is a brand new game so chances are like any Online RPG the initial release will not have much in regards to an endgame for those players who hit max level on day 1. It will be nice to simply switch blocks anytime I want struck up an older UQ though. There's never a reason not to see magatsu.
