I hope you'll support this thread by talking about it and its ideas more in depth, refining them and expanding on them to keep it in the forefront of discussions where the devs are able see it, and possibly act on it as soon as they can for the next play test

This is not a issue This is the central part of the game's design. the game.
The game is about the strategy elements around the fighting but the actual implementation of the fight isn't expected to be the main factor.
It's a reward for putting yourself in a favorable position before the fight begins rather than for practicing a spin-crouch or tilt technique that you learned on YouTube.
I love these types of games too. not pointing fingers, but this isn't that kind of game.
This kind of action-related skill ceiling down is exactly why the devs have effectively eliminated Wizard with pretty over-the-top changes to the game (and Ranger is next)
