Canada While FIFA 23 took the top position in Europe from MacMillanwu's blog

In the same way it does every year, Sony released the most downloaded titles on the PlayStation Store for September 2022. The lists reveal the most played PS4, PS5, PS VR as well as free-to-play games for the month, both in North America and Europe, and FIFA 23 Coins there aren't many surprises coming up this month.


Beginning on the heels of PS5 game titles NBA 2K23 was the most downloaded game on PSN this month in North America, while FIFA 23 was the top games in Europe (which is no surprise given how popular football is in Europe). Another new release in September, The Last of Us Part 1 was ranked third in both regions.


Making the switch from PS4, NBA 2K23 was top-rated game downloaded this month throughout the US and Canada While FIFA 23 took the top position in Europe. As for PSVR titles, Beat Saber was the No. number one game in both North America and Europe, with Job Simulator and Superhot VR placed second and third respectively in both regions.


For free-to-play games covering PS5 and PS4 as a whole, Fortnite was the most-downloaded game in the US and Canada in addition to Rumbleverse was the most-played free-to-play game across Europe.


You can see the most-downloaded PSN games for September below which was compiled by Sony and shared via the PlayStation Blog.In other PlayStation news, PS4's God of War Ragnarok has recently been declared gold because PlayStation confirmed that the game was developed by nine different studios.


Sony has ambitious plans for the next generation of virtual reality hardware and plans in the near future to get 2 million copies of its PSVR 2 headset ready by March of next year.


Mass production of the VR headset is said to have started with the start of September (via Bloomberg) and has so far not faced issues with its supply chain. With cheapest FUT 23 Coins the PS5 continuing to be demanded due to its lack of availability after its release in November of 2020, Sony also plans to offer more consoles on shelves in early 2023 according to Bloomberg's sources.
