Who Should Use the Paycheck Budgeting Method? from Gary Paul's blog

You have taken the time to look at some of the different budgeting methods out there and you are proud that now you are in an apartment, you are sitting down and trying to take some responsibility for your finances. But it will not take too long to figure out that there are a ton of budgeting methods. You may read through some and see the benefits and drawbacks of a few of them and wonder which one is going to be the right one for you?

Onebudgeting method that is gaining a lot of popularity and could be good for you is the paycheck budgeting. This one allows you to divide up your month based on when you get the paychecks so that you can just pay the bills as they come in, rather than paying it all at once during the month. For some people, it can work really well and gives them more freedom based on their personal income and when they get paid.

This budget can be a good one to use if you find yourself living paycheck to paycheck. This is a good system for that because each budget is only going to focus on the money that is in your account and you have on hand. You do not need to worry about the future, you just do what you need for now. This budgeting method is also good for those who would rather focus on how they will spend the income as it comes in, rather than trying to make one big plan at the same time in the month. This will take some of the stress off the budgeting process and allows you to take care of things as they come in.

You will have to decide if this is going to be a good budgeting method for you. If you only get paid one time a month, then this one is not going to really be all that different from some of the other budgeting methods and there is no point in looking at this one. But if you get paid weekly or bi-weekly, then this can be a way that you focus on the money that is coming in and take the debts bit by bit, rather than feeling overwhelmed for planning on the month the whole time.
