We are going to go over what those requirements are and how to meet them below from Nanlina's blog

Kicks is a merchant that, as Animal Crossing Items you might have guessed, sells shoes. He also specializes in backpacks and socks -- the latter of which can be hard to find in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. But, unlike exceptional merchants who see at random that is pure, Kicks will see your island once you meet conditions. We are going to go over what those requirements are and how to meet them below. In order for Kicks to start dropping by your island, you first must set up the Able Sister's tailor shop.

You have to wait around for Mabel to come to with your island to unlock the tailor shop. She, like many other retailers that are special, will appear and set up shop in your plaza. Be prepared to invest a nice amount of bells on her merchandise, if you want to unlock the brand new store fast. The more bells you spend with her, the sooner Mabel and her sisters may wish to move in forever. Depending on how frequently you perform, this may take up to two weeks.

When you have the Able Sister's tailor shop ready to go, Kicks will visit your island once. So be sure to check in often the afternoon is random, however. He will have some of his products on display under an umbrella on your plaza, when he visits. His shop opens at 5 a.m. and closes at 10 pm, therefore try to get into his shop early if you're a late-night player.

Along with shoes, Kicks sells an range of bags along with socks. This includes backpacks, messenger bags, purses, and crossbody bags. Kicks is the merchant who sells bags, although the Able Sister's shop sells a broader assortment of shoes and socks. They've no influence in-game beyond aesthetics. If you want to upgrade your inventory area, you will need to do so at the Nook Stop.Animal Crossing: Mabel And Sable's Parents Are [SPOILER]

Mabel and Sable of this Animal Crossing franchise's fashion market, have a heavy backstory. Sable's the shyer of the two, but she warms up the more the player speaks to her machine. Would not want anybody to feel left out in a franchise all about making friends--and boatloads of Bells--appropriate?

Well, keep a hot thought since she has been through a good deal. Back in Wild World, talking to her enough times will result in her opening up about the childhood of Mabel and her: their parents died therefore Sable ended up raising Mabel on her own when they were young. She does not go into details, but it must have been demanding, since one of those very few things we know for sure about their youth is that at cheap Animal Crossing Bells one point, the claws of Mabel ended up becoming frostbitten.
