Every heist necessitates the participation of a crew. As time progresses, more and more complex jobs will be undertaken, necessitating the expansion of your crew prior to each successive Grand Heist. The Rogue Harbour area contains a large number of NPCs who can be recruited by the player once they enter the area. In total, there are nine different skill sets in which each NPC will have varying levels of proficiency. The Rogues will have a specific skill that they are particularly good at, and this will be their specialty. There are a total of nine fields in which each ROgue specializes, and these will be extremely important later on.
Rogues will gain experience points as you take them on heists, and their skill levels will increase depending on which skills they used during the heist. The Contracts and Blueprints you accept will each have a specific number of NPCs attached to them. On the basic Contract Heists, you will only bring one rogue with you, whereas the Blueprint Grand Heists allow you to bring up to three.

Each heist in the Heist League consists of a series of rooms, each of which contains loot, puzzles, or traps, depending on the type of heist. Each of these is connected to the others through a network, with access controlled by Alter Level.
The level of alertness
Each heist in the patch is protected by a sophisticated security system. The starer heists are fairly straightforward; simply get in and get out. Later variants will have more complex mechanics that will require players to contend with traps, guards, and other obstacles. While you must be quick and stealthy to some extent, you must also be aware that the Alert Level increases as you take actions and create havoc. Once the lockdown is activated, you are essentially out of options and must leave the building immediately. This is the point at which you should have already made your way to the final Artifact room, which is the big prize for pulling off that heist. GGG has purposefully designed the league in such a way that there is a careful balance of reward and risk involved in participating. Players who want to rush the Artifact on a heist can do so; however, those who prefer to take their time looting side rooms can do so as well. Concentrate solely on obtaining the Artifact and Intel during the initial heists in order to keep this section concise.
A new type of currency, Heist Markers, has been introduced in Heist League, and they can be traded in to gain access to more advanced mechanics for the league. They are found throughout each heist, and you should make a point of retaining possession of them once you have them. Markers will serve as a secondary currency that will be redeemed when you complete Contracts in the game. Once you have these Markers, you can use them in the Rogue Harbour to obtain new items and Contracts from various NPCs.
These are the maps that are used to generate the most fundamental heists in the league. The primary difference is that Contracts (also known as Heists) lay the groundwork for Grand Heists (also known as Blueprints) and yield Markers and other regular Path of Exile items as rewards, whereas the more complex Blueprints contain your Unique rewards as well as additional items. Trinkets, Alternate Quality Gems, Rare Body Armour poe exalted orb and Weapons with enchantments, Experimented Base Types, and Replica Unique items are examples of what can be found in this category.
Contracts are dropped on a regular basis, just like any other type of loot. On average, you can expect to see them disappear after a couple of maps. A Contract must be presented to Adiyah, the Wayfinder in Rogue Harbour, in order for it to be executed. Pay her in Markers for each heist that she completes.
In Heist League, there are more than 900 new skill gems to discover. These new gems function in a manner that is similar to that of the existing gems in the game. The Grand Heists, on the other hand, introduce the ability to loot items that contain new modifiers. The Alternate Quality Gems will have new effects that are distinct from the normal bonuses for Gem Quality that are found on basic Gems. Alternate Quality Gems will be available in a limited quantity. It is likely that the majority of these gems will not be particularly interesting or impressive, but it is worthwhile to experiment with them to see what is possible.
