I'm kind of
OSRS GP late but I don't check the Runescape 3 page much anymore. Any thoughts about these changes? The Meteor Straike has to be altered however I don't believe there's a better way to do it. Food shouldn't deplete adrenaline, and in an era where free healing abilities can be used in everyday combat, there must be more incentive for people to use food. It is absurd to claim that sara-brews do not draw out adrenaline, but food does. In fact Sara-brews aren't in any way enhancing food like it is.
I personally would love to see this be made free to play whenever feasible. If we do not, it could lead to another situation like the one in which longbow specifications and magical shortbows are made free to play. We also have the beta test for free, so why do we need to pay for that lol.
You can continue to play RS3 from where you are currently at. The updated combat and other features are not going to change those initial few months or weeks of just starting the foundation. It will be much easier to learn the new features if you already have an account. Additionally, you'll discover the new features easier to use when you don't have to get started with gear or anything else.
I believe that setting up a brand new account, namely "Newscape" is tedious and reduce your chances of returning for a longer time. Recently, I logged into my account for the thousandth times, but I now have a fresh outlook and a desire to continue learning.
After skilling intermittently for a decade with only the most basic statistics (70 across all fields you know) I discovered an entirely new passion for PVM'ing after giving EOC an attempt and then getting back into it. Another problem I see with how people perceive the game is how many people seem to have different opinions.
Before returning, I was
buy runescape 3 gold speaking badly about EOC even though I'd never played the game! This is the story of many others, regardless of whether they admit it or otherwise. It really does have an effect of snowballs. Some people believe micro-transactions are a major issue for Runescape, but in reality they keep the company in business. I find it's primarily newer players who seem to buy stuff with real money, while us vets are able to get things done the old ways.
