The National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination is a joint entrance examination for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. The National Defence Academy/Naval Academy test is held twice a year by the UPSC. Candidates are shortlisted for the NDA/NA test and then trained to become commissioned officers in the Indian Armed Forces.
