Specifically about shot orientation. I haven't used the rod at all yet I've just been reading about it and you've got an
NBA 2K21 MT interesting take on things. Obviously. From what I have read and experienced there are several distinct options that players may have when it comes to shooting through the expert stick.
This can be seen from the MyPlayer mode of the 2k21 demo
RELEASE TIMING - Much like what we've seen in 2k20 and years previous. You imagine the rod and launch it in the ideal moment to have a perfect release. It can be late, early, or place on.
STICK ORIENTATION - Should you play with 2KU or a Quick Game in the 2k21 demo, you will realize this scheme. It is purely about you holding the pro rod down and then moving it slightly left or right with the aim being to get the shot at the coloured portion of the shot meter. You're effectively lining up your shot. When you release the rod doesn't make a difference. In fact you can hold it down the whole time (odd to listen to, I understand, for people who have been using the pro stick in years past ). All that is graded in this strategy is how well defended you're and if your shot was too far left, too much , or centered. This has been my favorite means to perform thus far. I feel like real-life gamers care less about when they discharge and more about lining up their own shot.
STICK ORIENTATION + SHOT RELEASE: This can be seen at the MyPlayer mode of the 2k21 demo. This mode is difficult! I imagine this scheme might be used for ace 2k championships as a way of creating a bigger skill gap? Maybe? I'm not sure but it's fairly hard to grasp. You need to release the ball at the ideal time in addition to line the shot up in precisely the same time. I think a previous 2k used this strategy earlier but this time it feels much more fragile.35g for 5 games, 2ku, and just 6 slots that are available for player builds....hmm I am no developer however 35g is mad for just how small we get from the demonstration. What gets me is that the damn limitations. Like why? What type of demo places a limitation?! It is one thing if a Beta ends imagine COD beta just lets you begin the
buy 2K21 MT match 5 times maximum even though there's 10 days left. The fuck?
