Additionally, once targeted, your ship will automatically approach and begin to orbit the nearest enemy in scope. While you do not always wish to orbit an enemy in combat, it is a wonderful improvement as, again, it eliminate unnecessary clicks. More advanced
EVE Echoes ISK players will understand the scenarios where you want to just turn and burn to maintain a safe range from an enemy, or other innovative maneuvers depending upon the ship you're piloting. Howeverit worked beautifully from the demo as my ship auto attacked one ship till it had been destroyed and then immediately moved onto the second.
I set out in search of enemies to kill and easily found them in an anomaly in the system I began my session inside. I previously had swapped my ship to an Armageddon, and this gave me a opportunity to check out the adjustments made into the fitting and inventory windows while at a station.
Fitting is easier than on PC. There are significantly fewer fitting slots in Echoes versus EVE Online. While some ships in EVE may have eight separate high slots, EVE Echoes seemingly has that limited to three. Whether that's to simplify the fitting process or a technical limit, I'm not sure, however, it will imply that fittings need to be approached differently in Echoes versus the PC customer.
The current market and inventory screens are a marked improvement over the PC client, and it's another facet I hope the dev team takes into account at CCP. Each item is clearly displayed with

While the UI on screen cries mobile, CCP can take some cues from the design to make EVE's existing UI feel less convoluted.
