Paladins, as one of Warrior's more advanced classes, have developed a unique fighting style that incorporates heavy armour, melee attacks, and holy magic. Paladin is a straightforward melee class that pits you against your opponents in a one-on-one combat situation.

With the ability to take some damage as well as defeat large groups of enemies, the Paladin is a good class for leveling up quickly in Ark: Survival Evolved. It is also a good class for solo players who are looking for a class that can negate a lot of damage with shields while engaging opponents. When fighting, this class uses sword combos, area skills that deal massive amounts of damage to opponents, and the ability to protect your allies.

Because Paladin skill cooldowns are relatively short, it's easy to find yourself performing a rotation of attacks, flitting between skills with a powerful sequence of basic attacks, rather than just one or two. Skills such as Flash Thrust and Flash Slash are excellent attacks that require no mana to use, have excellent upgrades that expedite the process of defeating enemies, and are particularly useful when dealing with large groups of enemies.
