The attendees who purchase tickets for the BlizzCon 2017 virtual Ticket will also gain acces to BlizzCon All Access Channel which Blizzard promises viewers the opportunity to take a "guided tour of the convention." It includes "behind-the-scenes events and zones like those at the Darkmoon Faire and World of Warcraft Tavern and in-depth conversations with community members, developers and professional players, casters and many more."

"BlizzCon is a massive gathering for the community," Blizzard head of community development Saralyn Smith stated in an interview with us recently. "We are almost thinking that it's the greatest thanks we can offer to the greatest gaming community around the globe.

"Increasingly our fans are enjoying BlizzCon on the internet. Every year, we're seeing more viewers tune in online which is why we've been thinking about ways to make sure we bring the best of BlizzCon to a wider audience via the internet."

When asked specifically the possibility of an increase in price with WOW WoTLK Classic Gold, Smith said this won't be the scenario. "We tried to improve value this year, which is why it's the same price as the first time we introduced The Virtual Ticket," Smith explained.
