There are games in which such a strategy can make sense from Nanlina's blog

And until you come for me explaining how important it is- I also am a huge AC fan and have been playing since I was a child, I have spend hours in my new horizons island. Once I was a child, I used to have to share an island with somebody older than me who would not let me do anything to the staircase except my room and it took away a Animal Crossing Bells great deal of fun- I'd imagine it would take away a huge amount of fun on New Horizons because that's a big part of the appeal.

Anyhow, I get placing working into your own island and being proud of it. However, punishing a kid for. . .playing the match? That is just silly. The actuality the island is imitation is irrelevant. She messed with different peoples stuff when she had been advised to ask , there has to be some type of repercussion or conversation prior to that mentality of"its mine too" or"I want to do x so I'll even when I'm not supposed to" becomes part of more than just jer video game playing.

It is not so apparent to me that collaborative depiction of their principles is accurate. OP says she wanted"parental consent" for big island changes. I remember being a child and discussing games with my parents and my (older) step siblings, and phrases such as that usually just meant that they would do exactly what they wanted and whatever I suggested would be vetoed with rare exceptions. It kind of takes away a great deal of fun from the match for a kid. It is like normal, real-world rules for a kid except they stretch into a video game. That, tbh, kind of stinks if OP's case is anything like that. I would not say that OP is TA, but I'm not a fan of these sharing that match with their child in the first place. It only seems like very little upside for the child. Particularly if the switch or game has been meant to be theirs, but is currently being heavily policed with their own parents.

There are games in which such a strategy can make sense and not remove from the kid's ability to appreciate their switch. However, in animal crossing, in which you get 1 island and can't really roll it back or reverse things (as much as I am aware, haven't played new horizons but did play with the original)? The daughter is basically not experiencing the match. Which sucks if it is intended to function as system or her match.

I had this bullshit as a kid also. Anyone older I shared that a match with (except my Dad who is a legend) would do buy Animal Crossing New Horizons Nook Miles Ticket the whole"you can perform this bit/change this but anything else you need to ask." They'd"perform a vote" and I'd be out numbered.
