After
the poor performance of the Bharatiya Janata Party [BJP] in Bengal, the leader
of the state unit of the party, Suvendu Adhikari was facing criticism from
within and outside the party according to the top 10 breaking news in hindi.
Adhikari is a mass leader with excellent appeal among the masses and if the BJP
managed to get an impressive 39% of vote share in the last elections, to a
large extent it was due to his efforts and appeal.
Keeping

There
is no caste polarization in Bengal but the people of the state are polarized on

Muslim voting in Bengal ever since the Communist Party of India [Marxist] or

less been wiped out of existence and the remaining fragments of their votes
have gone to either the BJP or TMC.
Undoubtedly,
all the Muslim votes of both the Congress and CPM have gone to TMC along with a

There
was and possibly still is, a perception among the BJP national leadership that
the ban on Triple Talaq have endeared the party to Muslim women across the

The
central leadership prevailed upon all the state leaderships to tone down their
Hindutva rhetoric and try to reach out to Muslims especially women with the
slogan “Sab ka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”.
Now,
the leader of the Bengal BJP, Suvendu Adhikari, is possibly the first regional
leader of the party to publicly dump this slogan and whatever policy it implies

Adhikary
had to clarify that he is not against “Sab ka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”
but the cat is out of the bag now. If he remains committed to his earlier resolve
then this will prove to be the silver bullet for the BJP in Bengal and
elsewhere to focus harder on its traditional support base, the patriotic Hindu
segment. This will help the party win over another major chunk of disappointed
Hindu votes that had strayed due to the wrong policies of the party in reaching
out to Muslim voters at the cost of Hindu voters.
