There has been an influx of new players to the MMORPG genre since Amazon Games' highly anticipated MMO New World was released. Some of them come from other games, such as Guild Wars 2 or Final Fantasy XIV, which are both known for having a massive amount of content and hiding secrets for players to discover and uncover. They are both fairly old games, however, and have had plenty of time for developers to fully flesh out the worlds in all of their nooks and crannies over the course of several years.

The Baconator and The Turkey Terminator, on the other hand, are less serious titles that can be unlocked by almost anyone.

References to Ancient Civilizations from the Real World
There are numerous ancient ruins and relics of long-gone eras scattered throughout the world of Aeternum. After all, it is a {anchor} (heh), and there is a great deal that newcomers to the island can learn about Aeternum's long history. Despite the fact that some of these ruins and derelict structures are references to real-world civilizations, the world is not entirely made up of fantasy.

For example, in one of the starting areas, there is a half-sunken Viking ship floating out in the water. It's possible that this is a teaser for future content, such as a seafaring expansion in which players can command a vessel similar to the one shown here, but for now it's just a fun easter egg that Viking fans will enjoy finding. Other ruins from real civilizations can be found in other parts of the world as well.

Easter Eggs Can Be Found On The Offline Version Of The World Map
This map can be viewed by players while they are not connected to the internet. This map contains several easter eggs - not hidden references, but literal easter eggs that players can click on to reveal a secret piece of content. There are no hidden references on this map.

Increased Vehicle Speed on the South Park Way
South Park's infamous Make Love, Not Warcraft episode depicts the boys power-leveling their World of Warcraft characters in Elwynn Forest by slaughtering a slew of wild boars. When it comes to leveling up a character in {anchor}, it has been discovered that going to Boarsholm and, well, killing boars in the forest, is one of the most efficient methods. Despite the fact that it is a Level 44 zone, players can begin farming XP here much earlier if they are teamed with high-level characters in this area.
