1.Bluetooth 5.1 Technology
EJEAS Referee headset is using Bluetooth 5.1 technology.
The advantage of Bluetooth 5.1 compared with Bluetooth 5.0
More accurate location
Less power consumption
As
we know, referees need to run with players, and the position of the
referee is changing from time to time. With Bluetooth 5.1, EJEAS Referee
headsets can pick up the signal anywhere quickly and accurately with
very little delay. In fact, it’s already real-time communication
considering the distance of the football field is so short. After all,
referees can’t move at high speeds as quickly as cars or other
transportation tools.
2.CVC Noise cancellation and 3D surround sound
EJEAS
Referee headsets have been upgraded several times. The latest version
of FBIM now support CVC Noise cancellation and with the latest chip and
in-ear headphone, FBIM also supports 3d surround sound.
CVC
stands for Clear Voice Capture. CVC noise cancellation is a noise
suppression technology developed by QUALCOMM, it can remove background
noise from the environment and provide clear voice communication for
referees, especially when the referee is officiating a game in a field
full of spectators.
3.EJEAS Referee Headset uses AAC Audio Coding Mode
AAC
stands for Advance Audio Coding. To better understand AAC, you can take
MP3 as a comparison.AAC is an audio coding standard that has been
designed as the successor or MP3, AAC has higher sound quality than MP3
with the same bit rate.
4.Long Transmit Distance
Under
the ideal setting without any obstacle, the engineer can communicate up
to 1500 Meters with 4 units working together. Each headset can speak up
to 375 meters. As we know, the length of a football field is 105
meters, the width is 68 meters. Therefore, the distance of EJEAS Referee
headset communication is far more than the required communication
distance for referees. Referees never need to worry that they are out of
service zone with
EJEAS FBIM Referee Intercom while they are officiating the game.
5.Hand Free Communication
With
EJEAS referee headsets, the referee doesn’t need to push any button
after all devices have been connected while officiating the game. It’s
totally hand-free communication. When they need to talk to their
colleagues, they just talk. And at the same time, they can make calls by
flag signals from their hands. This feature is the same as big brands
like Vokerro and Yapalong. Unlike talkie walkie intercoms, they need to
push the button before they talk to their colleague.
6.Full Duplex Communication
Officiating
a football game needs collaboration among the head referee, assistant
referees, and fourth official. Sometimes, you need help from VAR.
Therefore, the communication must be real-time and get all referees
involved. EJEAS FBIM Referee headset is full duplex communication
intercoms. Duplex communication means each FBIM headset unit can listen
and speak simultaneously to the other 3 FBIM headsets. Just like all
referees are gathering as a group to have a face to face communication.
7.In-Ear design earphone
The
old version of the EJEAS FBIM Referee Headset comes with ear hang-style
earphones. Referees need to hook it to the ear, making it not stable
and uncomfortable when officiating the game. Now the latest new upgrade
version of EJEAS FBIM Referee Headsets comes with new in-ear design
earphones, with a more stable and comfortable wearing experience and
more clear and 3D surround voice.

Reasonable Price
Compare
with the expensive $1200 Yapalong and $5000 Vokerro, EJEAS FBIM Referee
Headsets are at a more reasonable price, yet the quality is not bad. If
you are a referee who just started your career, it’s a great option for
you to have EJEAS FBIM Referee Bluetooth Intercom. You can compare them
by visiting Yapalong and Vokerro official homepage, and checking the
price and features of their products.
The disadvantage of EJEAS Referee Headset FBIM
Don’t have push to talk option for the fourth official or VAR(Video Assistant Referee)
The
fourth official doesn’t need to be online all the time during the game,
they just talk when necessary. For example, when there are
substitutions cases or requests the involvement of VAR. Therefore, the
push-to-talk option for the fourth official is good for them. Similar to
the VAR(Video Assistant Referee), VAR stays outside the pitch, they
don’t get involved until not necessary, so the push-to-talk option is
also good for them.
Don’t have the charging finish indicator
Charging
EJEAS Referee Headset
is a confusing thing. You just charge it with approximately time, it’s
about 2.5 hours. When you charge it, the indicator is red, and when you
finish charging it, the indicator is still red. If there is some
indicator showing the charging finish, that will be great. Hope EJEAS
will change this in the future.
