By the time the playoffs started, Thompson found himself out of the rotation in favor of Larry Nance Jr. But still, Thompson stayed ready and in a crucial Game 7 against Indiana he came up with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. He followed that up with a 14-12 double-double in the Cavs first game against Toronto, and against Boston, he proved crucial in stopping Al Horford. For all the disappointment in his regular season, Thompson stayed ready throughout the postseason and found ways to deliver in key moments.Up next: Jordan ClarksonJordan Clarkson: D+/C- The young point guard acquired at the trade deadline was up and down through 28 regular season games with Cleveland. He averaged 12.6 points, but as the season wore on, it became increasingly clear that the glaring weakne s in Clarksons game is his inability to facilitate offense for anyone other than himself. He at times turned into a black hole on the offensive end, averaging just 1.7 a sists per game, and defensively wasnt able to make any significant impact. Thats why he found himself out of the rotation by the Finals. At his worst, he was a flat out liability. At his best, he provided some scoring for the second unit. His signature game came on April 4 at home against Toronto, when he dropped a season-high 19 points and had four a sists as the Cavs came up with a six-point win.
