May 28 represented Liverpool's fifth Champions League final since the competition's revamp in 1992 with an even record of two wins and two defeats ahead of their appearance in Paris where they suffered a 1-0 lo s to Real Madrid. Games last 90 minutes but, on average in the Premier League, the ball is in play for only 55 of those. Brighton over the course of the season averaged only 41.39% po se sion.
