Well, if you’re running the older version of Quicken, it will automatically prompt you to update it. You can also check your current version in Quicken under the “About Quicken” section. Here are the steps you need to perform in order to update Quicken:
To begin with, navigate to Help and select Check for Updates.
If the update is available, a prompt will appear giving you the option to install it.
Press Yes to install the update.
At last, you'll need to close Quicken to run the update program.
If you are unable to see the Check for Updates option, you can update it via the One Step Update. Here are the steps you have to go through:
Firstly, select Tools and click One Step Update.
Tap on Update Now.
If an update is available, Quicken displays a message with a link to a description of what's in the update along with a button to download the update.
