Hey everyone,
I'm facing some challenges with my Windows 10 and storage server setup and I'm hoping to get some guidance from this community.
Here's a brief overview of my setup:
I have a Windows 10 PC that's connected to a storage server.
The storage server is used to store and backup important data.
The storage server is configured with RAID 5 to ensure redundancy and data protection.
Here are the issues I'm experiencing:
Slow transfer speeds: When I try to transfer large files from my PC to the storage server, the transfer speeds are extremely slow. It takes hours to transfer just a few gigabytes of data.
Connection drops: Sometimes, the connection between my PC and the storage server drops unexpectedly. This can be quite frustrating as it interrupts any ongoing file transfers or backups.
Performance issues: I've noticed that my PC's performance is affected when I'm accessing files on the storage server. Applications take longer to load, and there's a noticeable lag when browsing through files.
I've tried a few things to troubleshoot the issues, such as disabling antivirus and firewall, updating drivers, and running diagnostics on the storage server, but the problems persist.
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues with Windows 10 and storage servers, and if so, what solutions did you find?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
