chinese tea ware dates back to the Han Dynasty (206 BCE – 220 CE),
when tea was first consumed for medicinal purposes. It wasn’t until the Tang Dynasty
(618–907 CE) that tea drinking became a popular social activity, necessitating the
creation of specialized teaware. The Song Dynasty (960–1279 CE) further refined the art
of tea preparation and presentation, leading to the development of elegant and
functional teaware
